About Me

My name is Alissa with a Korean American background. My early years were split between the bustling streets of Seoul and the coastal charm of Busan until I was six, after which my family immigrated to the United States. I moved around a lot but mainly grew up in Chicago.

Nowadays, I am in South Korea as a military spouse, adding a new dimension to my already diverse experiences. In a previous life, I was a Spanish Immersion Teacher, proudly wielding fluency in three languages.

My heart is poured to my two-year-old daughter, who seems to have inherited my wanderlust. Together, we embark on adventures near and far, constantly on the lookout for toddler-friendly havens and delightful activities to spark her curiosity.

Driven by a passion for exploration and a knack for discovering hidden gems, I’ve crafted this travel website with fellow parents in mind. My goal? To make your family trips not only hassle-free but also culturally enriching, steering clear of the tourist traps and embracing the charm of lesser-known locales. Join me on this journey of discovery, where we’ll uncover tantalizing food spots and clever ways to stretch our travel budget, all while creating unforgettable memories with our loved ones.
